Payment for services may be covered by health insurance, self-pay, or by sliding fee scale for those without insurance coverage. For more information or to consider if these services may be right for you or your family, please contact us.

Our professionals are licensed mental health professionals in the areas of Clinical Social Work and Psychology and are eligible to bill health insurance as a licensed mental health professional for mental health services. Mercy’s Place will bill your insurance company directly, provided we receive the necessary information.
The following questions are important to consider:
Do I have mental health benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
How much does my plan cover for an in-network provider?
How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
Would I have a co-pay?
Please bring your insurance card with you to the first appointment. Also, if your insurance information is provided over the phone prior to the first appointment, Mercy’s Place can help you determine at what level your insurance company will cover services provided and if it would be considered in-network or out-of-network. Any applicable co-payments are due at the time of service.

Although it is ideal, when individuals have a personal desire to get help, there are times when seeking help for a loved one or on behalf of your family is very appropriate. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us and discuss your questions. Typically, it’s not expected that adolescents will be fully engaged in wanting help for themselves- at least initially. Mercy’s Place typically offers to start out with several sessions initially, with the idea that within 6 weeks of beginning therapy, both the therapist and the adolescent will re-assess progress and discuss if the adolescent feels comfortable with the therapist. Mercy’s Place looks to you as a parent to also assess if you feel the services are beneficial after a sufficient trial period. Mercy’s Place encourages you as parents to be actively involved in your child’s care. Often, if children and adolescents experience their parent as willing, supportive, and also open to change individually and as a family, it helps produce an atmosphere for positive change to occur.
